Everything head office needs to run Priceguide

Guides for the brand teams, marketing leads and agencies who look after Priceguide across a franchise network. How it works, how to get the most leads from it, and answers to the questions franchisors ask us most.

Do this, not that

What the best performing brands on Priceguide have in common. Most of the difference between a location getting a handful of leads and one getting dozens comes down to these.

✓ Do

On your website
  • Put it in the main menu as "Pricing". Menus list places, so give it a place name. If the menu is full, swap out a weaker item.
  • Give it a hero button as big as your booking button. Label it "Get Instant Pricing". Best is replacing "Free Estimate". Next best is right beside it, same size.
  • Put the estimator on the page itself, embedded, not behind a link.
  • Add the intro and FAQs from your install pack under it. They help Google and AI assistants show your prices.
  • Link to it from every service page, and use the national page on your main brand site.
With your leads
  • Call every lead within minutes. Use a call centre if you have one. These customers have already seen a price they are happy with.
  • Connect your CRM so every lead is kept for follow-up. Zapier, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, ServiceTitan, Jobber and webhooks all work.
  • Keep the phone number optional. Leads without one still reach the location by email.
  • Carry your tracking through, so you can see which campaigns bring leads.
With your locations
  • Get every owner logged in during week one to add their booking link and check their prices.
  • Get owners sharing their own link before the website is ready: Google Business Profile, email signatures, QR codes on vans.
  • Check your analytics monthly and learn from your champion locations.

✕ Don't

On your website
  • Don't call it "Budget Planner", "Calculator", "Resources" or "Get Pricing" in the menu. Visitors skip labels that don't clearly mean a price.
  • Don't hide it in a dropdown, the footer, or on a landing page nothing links to.
  • Don't let it lose to a bigger "Free Estimate" button. People click the big one and ignore the estimator.
  • Don't stack three or more hero buttons. It looks cluttered and people pick none.
  • Don't edit or strip the embed code. It carries your tracking and your SEO data.
With your leads
  • Don't call it a quote. It's an estimate, a price range. A quote promises a fixed price.
  • Don't treat these leads like a contact form. Open with the estimate they saw.
  • Don't make the phone number required unless you're happy to lose around 3 in 10 leads.
With your locations
  • Don't send logins only to a shared location inbox. Owners often never check it.
  • Don't let a location quietly stop using it. If numbers look wrong, tell us. Most fixes take twenty minutes.

Proof it works. Archadeck's five pilot locations put the estimator in the main menu with a hero button on par with booking, and produced over $15 million in estimates. A Control4 dealer moved his to a "Pricing" tab in his homepage menu, and a $180,000 project and a $90,000 project came through it.
