  • Automatically when visitors browse priceguide.ai (cookies, server logs).
  • From service providers that operate parts of our infrastructure.

Purposes of processing

We use personal information to:

  • provide and operate the Priceguide platform;
  • generate price estimates and route leads to contractors;
  • process subscriptions and payments;
  • communicate about the service (billing, security, support);
  • send marketing communications where you have consented;
  • improve the platform through analytics;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • detect and prevent fraud and security incidents.

We do not use personal information for purposes incompatible with these. We do not use Service Provider data outside the direct business relationship with the contractor whose customers it relates to.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not knowingly engage in cross-context behavioural advertising involving the personal information of estimator end users.

Our public marketing website (priceguide.ai) uses Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel for our own analytics and advertising measurement. We honour user opt-out signals on priceguide.ai, including the Global Privacy Control. These tools are not loaded on the customer dashboard or on customer estimators, and do not process estimator submissions.

If you wish to opt out of analytics or advertising cookies on priceguide.ai, you may do so through our cookie banner or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honour.

Sensitive personal information

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require offering a “Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information” right under CCPA §1798.121. To the extent we collect login credentials (email and password), they are used solely to authenticate users to the service.

  • Customer account data: contract term plus 6 years (UK statutory limitation period).
  • Estimator submissions: default 24 months, configurable downward by the contractor.
  • Marketing site analytics: 14 months in GA4.
  • Newsletter subscribers: until unsubscribe; suppression list retained to honour the opt-out.

  • Operational and security logs: per hosting provider defaults (typically up to 12 months).

  • the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it; and
  • the specific pieces of personal information we have collected.

  • the right you want to exercise;
  • enough information to verify your identity (for account holders, the email associated with your account); and

For end users who submitted estimate requests on a contractor’s website, please contact that contractor first; they are the Business under CCPA. We will assist them in fulfilling your request as their Service Provider.

We will respond within forty-five (45) days. We may extend by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice.
