Track What’s Working: UTM Links Now Supported in priceguide
Ever wonder which of your marketing campaigns are actually bringing in leads?
Good news — you can now use UTM tracking links inside priceguide! That means you can finally know whether your Meta ads, Google Ads, or emails are doing their job.
What are UTM links?
UTMs (short for Urchin Tracking Modules, but don’t worry about the name!) are little tags you can add to any link. They tell your analytics tools where the traffic came from — like if someone clicked a Facebook ad, an email, or a Google search.
Example UTM link:
Where can you use UTM links?
You can add UTM links just about anywhere you promote your estimator:
-
✅ Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram)
Paste your full UTM link in the ad’s call-to-action (CTA) URL. -
✅ Google Ads
Add UTM parameters in your final URL or use a tracking template. -
✅ Email Campaigns
When linking to your estimator, add UTMs to the link so you know which email drove the click. -
✅ QR Codes
Running a flyer or print campaign? Add a UTM to your QR code destination.
UTM Tracking in Zapier
Using our Zapier integration? You can now pull UTM data from your estimator entries and send it directly into:
-
CRMs like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel
-
Platforms like Jobber, ServiceMinder, Zoho
-
Google Sheets, Slack, and just about anywhere else
The UTM fields show up just like any other form field in Zapier. Use them to tag, segment, or score your leads based on where they came from.
How to test if your UTM tracking is working
- Create a UTM link using Google’s UTM Builder.
- Paste the link in a browser and fill in your estimator.
- Check the entry in your dashboard or CRM — you’ll see the UTM source, medium, and campaign data!
Final Tip
If you’re running ads, you need to be using UTMs. Otherwise, you’re guessing. With UTMs and PriceGuide together, you get the full story from ad click to estimate to closed deal.
