4 Steps to Adding Your
Pricing Estimator to Your Website

This guide shows the recommended way to add your pricing estimator to your website.

Most customers either:

• • Add it themselves, or
• • Pass this page to their web developer

Either way, the steps below are all you need.

Step 1: Create a new page on your website

Create a new page on your website.

We recommend:

• • Page title: Online Pricing Estimator

This page will be dedicated to your pricing estimator.

Step 2: Add the estimator to the page

Copy your Priceguide embed code (found in your Dashboard, then look for the “SHARE” button on the estimator you wish to add), and paste it onto the new page.

The embed code will automatically display your full pricing estimator and keep it updated if you make changes later.

It now also includes new schema technology which will talk directly to AI and Google in the background, on your behalf, letting them know which services you offer and the broad price range for each.

Once added, your estimator will appear directly on the page for visitors to use.

Step 3: Add helpful SEO content under the estimator (recommended)

Under the estimator, we recommend adding a short introduction and FAQs.

This helps:

• • Search engines understand the page
• • Customers feel more confident
• • Your page rank for pricing related searches

You’ll need your Estimator ID

When using the SEO helper, you’ll be asked for your Estimator ID.

Your Estimator ID is the last part of your estimator URL. For example, in app.priceguide.ai/estimator/rec9yacYjwnDGbNYa the ID is rec9yacYjwnDGbNYa

How to use the tool below (3 steps)

1. Paste your Estimator ID

2. Click Generate

3. Copy the content and paste it below your estimator

That’s it.

Step 4: Add the page to your website menu

To make the estimator easy to find, add the page to your main menu.

We recommend:

This wording sets clear expectations and performs well for visitors.

Depending on how much space you have in the menu, you can of course alter the wording slightly if needed. For example:

The embed will always stay in sync.

Optional: Link instead of embed

If you prefer, you can link to the estimator instead of embedding it.

However, we recommend embedding whenever possible because:

• • It feels more seamless
• • It converts better
• • Visitors stay on your website

If you do choose to link, simply link to your estimator URL from your menu or a button.

For web developers

If you are a web developer helping a client set this up, the steps above are all that is required.
